I hope you will have noticed a change in Hydra Properties over the past year. As we have celebrated milestones at our many developments, including the completion of the construction of Danet Mall, the foundation work at Hydra Towers, the podium at Hydra Avenue, and many more, we have endeavoured to share our news with you and to keep you up to date. We have made changes in how we communicate. We still distribute our monthly investor newsletters, which we know are warmly received. The newsletters are supplemented by our new Facebook profile where we regularly post all the latest photos straight from the sites, so that customers can see the progress with their own eyes.
By deciding to have an in-house call centre, we ensure that every time a customer calls us, they get to speak to a Hydra employee with detailed product knowledge. We have a new team of trained professionals ready to answer inquiries and investigate any issues as part of our service guarantee promise. All these initiatives aim to demonstrate our commitment to our customers and to improving transparency.
Every day there are thousands of engineers and construction workers deployed across all of our sites, ensuring steady progress. Last year was a tough year for our industry, followed by some early signs of recovery this year. Throughout this period we have remained firmly focused on delivery, and we continue to make progress.
Looking forward, I can see that we are on the verge of turning the page to the next chapter of Abu Dhabi’s story, with a number of new high quality residential and commercial units about to be handed over in the next 12 months and the coming years. I look forward to Hydra Properties playing an active role in supporting the development and growth of our Emirate outlined in Plan Abu Dhabi 2030.
